New Year's Queries - Friday Five

I’m late! The 26th was my dad’s birthday and mine is this Saturday. My brother’s is Thursday, my mother-in-law’s is Sunday, busy week...

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year? Personally, adopting the sweetest (and strangest) cat in the world. Business wise, probably managing to increase the volume of my own personal stuff I sell on eBay and having to depend less on selling things for others on commission.

2. What was your biggest disappointment? That my health has declined and my weight has not. I had really meant to work on both in 2003, but I never seemed to get around to it.

3. What do you hope the new year brings? World peace, a Democratic president... a better economy, and peace and harmony in my own house.

4. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? If yes, what will they be? I hate making resolutions... let’s call them goals. Schedule my work day to be more structured so I can take more time for myself and relax some and not work non-stop the entire time I’m awake every day. And to become more financially independent at the same time ;-) Go to bed earlier (before dawn). Also to spend more time on my various websites and keep them updated better.

5. What are your plans for New Year's Eve? Stay at home, probably watch some of my stacks of Charmed and Angel episodes I’m behind on, crack open the bottle of alcoholic eggnog I didn’t drink at Christmas.
