Meme Quest
I need to find another Meme, Friday Five has been down for an I'm sure much needed rest and I need inspiration... And to do something other than just list things on eBay, my brain is starting to hurt.
Went by Unconscious Mutterings earlier, got this word association meme to do:
- Sexy:: Thin
- Clique:: Webring
- Pledge:: To eat better
- Carbs:: Forbidden
- Dream Job:: Novelist
- Sweeps:: TV in May, Friends
- Soundtrack:: in my head, jazz right now
- Hero:: Batman
- Shave:: Armpits
- Christina:: Aguilera, "Beautiful"
Of course, there's always the Meme List. I really should pick a Wednesday one, hmmm...
The page layout at Wednesday Mind Hump scares me but I like their questions:
01. If your blog were scratch and sniff, what would it smell like? Vanilla, maybe Lavender
02. Which horror movie monster are you most like and why? A vampire, definitely! Pale with supernatural powers, immortal, stronger than everyone else, able to control what you do (unlike werewolves).
03. If you were being sold in a Walmart, which department would you be in and what exactly would you be?Ý Would you be on sale? Gee, I really dislike Walmart, umm... An organizer book, like a Daytimer. Hell no, I'd be full price, and have to be cabled down to keep from being stolen.
04. Earth, Wind, Fire and Water.Ý Which element would you be.Ý What form of that element would you be and why? Earth, that's my sign anyway. Don't like the water, don't like the wind and fire is too dangerous.
05.Ý What sitcom character (past or present) do you think you are most like and why? Probably Elaine from Seinfeld. We both have frizzy hair and bad luck, we're both very straightforward and sarcastic when needed. Elaine is a strong female character, I like her :-)
Daydreaming on Paper gave me this prompt:
Did you have an allowance as a child? If so, how much was it? What did you spend it on?
I honestly don't remember how much, it wasn't maybe a few bucks. I do remember what I spent it on, though. Comic books, Slim Jims, Sno Balls (the pink cupcakes with coconut on top), some candy and perhaps a Cherry/Cola Slurpee. We had a little shopping center and a 7/11 near my house where I would do my weekly shopping.
